I thought about turning my 210 gallon tank into a front tank.....but the blue ones are so pricey.....that I (and my wife!) decided to opt for haps instead.
A mature group like this is a sight to see!

When they get older, does that blue turn to black sometimes?

The Frontosa Kipili will stay blue
The cost of fronts like this is only £40 each

NO! Frontosa are never lazy! These guys were the first fish I ever had. I bought 5 @ my local pet store, Critter Corner in Kokomo,Indiana. Each were $30 a piece along with one Oscar I decided to throw in the mix. Started them off with a krill/brine shrimp food mix until they were old enough to eat feeders. Great fish all around. And to James Ball maybe you should try API Stress Coat, its a water treatment add every 3 to 5 days with refresh water. Fronts are super sensitive to PH levels and water conditon!!

I've kept mant frontosa, in mixed african tanks, never found them "sensitive" to anything!! pretty hardy tang IMO!!

if I could put six stars that rating would you give your fish tank, which is the age of your oldest frontosa?

it's still small, but to me it seems as a blue acara is plausible. Wait unt
