Venustus w/White poop

Hey, can anyone help me with this. My one Venustus all of a sudden has stopped eating frantically like he/she use to and is now producing white poop instead of the normal color.

Any ideas why and what I can do to help it if it is sick.

Is the poop very stringy and clear, and staying attached to the fish for very long periods of time, or is it normal sized and just light colored?

Stringy clear poop that clings to the fish is usually a sign of parasites. Blockages can also occur which can be loosened by raising salt content and feeding shelled peas. If the fish is getting bloated and has clear stringy poop, I recommend these treatments along with a product called Clout. Treat for at least 7 days, rather than the 4-5 they suggest.

Good Luck!

The Venustus has not clear, but solid white poop. He is hiding in places where he can rest against something and he will not eat.

When I feed he comes running out, but will not come up to eat so the peas will not work.

In regards to salt I use Instant Ocean with every water change at 1 tsp per 10 gal.

If I am to use the clout, do I "clout" the entire tank ?
