Hello! I'm new here and have been in the hobby for about 4 years and absolutely love it! I'm wanting to up grade from my 75 to a 125 or 180. I guess my question is... How involved is the matinence on the 150? How often do you vacum it or rearrange it? filtration? Sorry for all the questions I just want to know what I'm getting into before I go bigger.
Cheers! Mike

Hey David. Always nice to put a face with the name. My wife enjoys the fish as much as me. That is why we have 24 running. Nice tanks..

I run 2 pf500 tetratec filters with built in heaters, they're tidal flow sponges have been in my tanks for 7 yrs no problems, when the water evaporates 2 inches I drain it to 6 refill about every other month, vacumm it when refilling it or restacking best to leave as is if they're breeding unless your removing juveniles.

I have a pf500. I like it except it is a little loud.
