I like the light and dark sides as well. It's not just the lighting causing that effect though. You actually have darker deco on one side and lighter on the other. How do you keep the substrates seperated?

Very carefully..It has been set up this way for 2 years now...Its a little mixed but not to much. The lighting plays part in the effect as well. I like leaving it dark around the caves so the fish can hide in the shadows

It does look cool like that. I either have quite a few diggers or diggers who are relentless. I could never have kept two different substrates seperated like this, lol.
