that looks monsterous, I thought it was smaller than that. I have the same problems with the rocks weighing down. What if you attached it to some slate?

i dont like the looks of the slate on them . geos always dig gravel away from base and it shows . i'll live with the rocks for a bit

Brian can you drill a hole in the slate and use a stainless steel screew to anchor it, just dont tighten it up tight leave room for the wood to swell.

it would take a heavy piece of slate to keep this down these 2 rocks are heavy and are barely keeping it down , i'll live with the look for awhile doesnt take long to waterlog it .

I have some long zip ties you can anchor it to the rocks untill it waterlog's

i agree, it looks awesome, and knowing its a 125 gallon tank, that piece is 10x larger than i was expecting lol

I put screws on the parts I wanted down then used Hydraulic Cement to weight it down. It makes the process longer but it does hold it down.

That's really cool. Can't wait to see how it looks in there once the rocks come off. Will the rocks stay in the tank or come out? How long should it take a piece that size to get water logged again?
