Kool. I thought about doing this at one time. Even though its primarily clay some brick companies do use some chemicals and stains...presoaking might help there...I would rather not risk it though.

kye it wouldnt be much different than the concrete used for dyi backgrounds would it? maybe a salt water presoak a couple of times would leach chemicals ?

I like it to, very cool idea, you know what is so good about using brick, it that is holds a good temp. and if you power went out, your tank would stay pretty comfy for a bit.

lol good one , but i really do think this brick work is kind of interesting , the holes make great caves and they are very stackable

maybe a little color would make it better like a more natural color to the brick.

I like it looks different from most tanks,how many gallons is it?

PS.... tank needs little bit more water
