i also have an tropheus duboisi tank and tropheus moliro but i was wondering about the sand, what advantages dose if have over gravel and how do you clean it.

Martin,are these wild caughts? If so you are a very lucky man as wc Maswa are not allowed to be caught any more.

david, sand is beneficial because it is what occurs in nature. They use it to dig and mark out territory. Shellies prefer sand because they can use the sand and move it around to make the opening to the shell to just fir them. Sand is better over all
