Trimac Tank - Another perspective
Trimac Tank - Another perspective
Cichlasoma trimaculatum
My Trimac is very shy and hides all the time, more so when the lights are on. You can see him tucked behind the rock waiting for me to go away.

ram..i dont think that wall paper on the side would be good...the fish need to get used to the house movements and people around, maybe only on the back and the wall facing the window( to cut sunlight and thus algea growth)...try to get a shot of that shy thing please.. true trimacs are quite rare and i would like to see one..

I also thought of the same thing from another perspective.. I can't view it from my couch then :) I've observed that most cichlids love 3 side covers... I'll do 2 sides just to keep the algae away..

sure, will get him on reel somehow and post it tomorrow morning first thing

it sure makes me feel happy to have a trimac... :)

Thank you for all the wonderful tips

he follows me around when the lights are off.. somehow, turning on the light turns him off...
