Robert...without a source of amnonia the amnonia eating bacteria will die off. Same with the nitrite eating bacteria. Adding bacteria but no fish and waiting is not cycleing. It's time to add a few fish !

Thanks bip. Yea i was planning on putting them in, in about an hour or two i read the temp wrong it need about 2 or 3 more degrees. I just need to wait till i get paid thurs to get some more rock and some plants for the tank.I ordered a couple fish today too should be in by the weekend

Robert head to a local landscaping companty for more rocks. Much cheaper than any lfs. They run from .25c a pound there as opposed to 1.50+ a pound at lfs. You just have to clean the rocks really good.

I don't know about the sand Bloop. You can check for bagged stuff. Anything sitting out in the yard I would feel would be wayyyyy too dirty (have a hell of a time getting it clean enough that it doesn't cloud your tank for life, lol) and possibly too contaminated for a fish tank.

Hey thnks Guys just went and checked everything again and everything was perfect so I transfered the blue guy in there and he seems like he is doing great will have pics in about 5 to ten minutes
