I think it looks fine. You've got all the elements; lots of hiding places, structure. There are lots of different colors and materials, but if you like the way it looks, then who cares what others think?

i agree with david...but , it has to be pleasant to the eye too..!( this set-up is too much disorder to me)

the rock placement just looks too perfect, not natural
it doesnt have to look natural.. as long as it is pleasing to the eyes.. do something about it.. try changing your rocks

thanks for the comments. Im getting a few more fish so ill change the stuff around when i put them in. Id like to get more rocks but as you all know there pretty expensive.

What do i have to do to the rocks before i put them in there. Wont that affect the water parameters? Not to mention i live in northern Michigan, not to many cool looking rocks up here. There all blah.

try rivers or landscape shops rivers are free landscape will be cheaper than aqua shop. basically all i do to rocks is scrub them in sink with water and put them in. i have never had a problem. send me an email and i will send you pics of rocks in my tanks. i got all them in my yard, side of the road, river, etc. have never paid for them. email thomasjames@bellsouth.net

Its a little crowded, looks kind of like plane crashed in the tank...but like what snoopywoods said sometimes less is more !
