Excellent!! lol That's what I was afraid mine would do! ...I just have the plastic light hood and it would not support my fat cats!

yeah I thought it was pretty funny so I had to take a picture of it, that hood is pretty heavy duty it's solid wood so it can definitely hold them...lol
