Dining Room at our Wedding
This is a shot of the aquarium catering service setting up the room for our wedding last year. This pic was snapped by a friend of mine before they were finished with the chair covers, table linens, etc. This is only about 1/4 of the room. Each table was next to a gigantic tank.

If you ever get married again, you better invite me....

Sure. Or, you can just show up, drink for free and stare at tanks - nobody will know the difference :)

Awesome Frank... Hows Christine?

Roger, we have some great pictures, it really was a blast. Christine is having a nice day with our teething baby :) I havent forgot about the pins for you - trying to find where we put them :)

Lee,
Atlantis Marine World Aquarium in Riverhead, NY. http://www.atlantismarineworld.com/catering-rental-photoalbum.html

They are priced like all the other catering halls around here - per head, depending on the package you want. They cater in house, and I think they can accomodate up to 300 guests for a wedding - probably more for a cocktail party setup.

amazing

Lee, we paid about $120 per head for the ceremony (we were married on site) 1 hr cocktail hour, open bar, 5 hour reception with viennese hour, chocolate fountains, frozen drinks, etc etc. Pricey, and we are crazy, but really the same amount as most of the nice catering halls on Long Island for a Saturday night party.

Thanks Tina, it was. Christine (my wife) did a fantastic job of planning table locations and matching the decor. She's not a fish-lover, but she liked the idea of doing something different :)

If you look in the top left of the picture, you can see a little balcony. We had tables up there, so people up there could see pretty much everything, and behind them they get an overhead view of a 120,000 gallon shark tank.

I want someone else to get married there so I can go as a guest :)
