150 Malawi Display

  My main display tank.
  A pure Malawi set up, except or the plecos. The inhabitants include:
  2 Protomelas steveni (M+F) Pombo Rocks WC
  3 Metriaclima zebra Chiofu Bay (1M 2F) WC
  7 Labidochromis caeruleus F? (3M 4F)
  3 Metriclima sp. "msobo deep" Magunga F1 male 2 WC females.
  3 Pseudotropheus sp. Elongatus Chuwa (1m 2F) F1
  3 Metriaclima sp. "Blue Dolphin" Manda (1M 2F) F?
  2 Labeotropheus trewavasae "Mpanga Red" (1M 1F) F1
  1 Leoparicanthicus sp. L240a
  1 Pseudocanthicus sp. L114
  1 Parancistrus sp. L47

Decoration

• Gravel: A mix of Natural and Seachems "Gray Coast"
• Plants: Valisneria sp. "Gigantea" a florida species that thrives in hard alkaline water.
  
  Lots of Ontario Cottage country Rocks
  

Technics

• Light: 2X 30W daylight, 2X 30W Actinic
• Light-Duration: Timed 14 hrs
• Filtration: I Eheim 2026 Canister, 1 Marineland 360 Canister. 1 400gph Powerhead.
  
  25%/week water change. Thats about it. No special chemical additives (except for dechlorinator)
