Description
- Category: Lake Malawi
- Tank size: 0x0x0 inches = 0 gallons
- Tank size: 0x0x0 cm = 0 liters
My new tank is a 30 gallon African Cichlid tank. It is a very basic tank for now, but eventually will be moved to my 55 gallon. (I am planning a custom made backround (strofoam and concrete), all sand bottom and some small rock caves on the 55 gallon.)
I currently have a Red Zebra and a Bumble Bee Cichlid who seem to get along very well. I am thinking of adding a yellow lab and something in blue/ black once tank is totally cycled.
Decoration
- Gravel: Dark, medium and some light gravel mixed together.
- Plants: Java Fern and Mondo grass (which i just found out is not an aquarium plant. It will be removed in a day or two).
Some various rock caves (rocks from an old tank) 2 pieces of driftwood and a plastic log which my 2 fish love.
Technics
- Light: Basic lighting and hood that came with tank.
- Light-Duration: 2pm-11pm
- Filtration: Marineland Emperor 400 Dual Biowheel filter.
Surge 300 power head and Marineland Stealth 100 Heater that keeps a steady 77 degrees day and night.
