firstly no amount of cleaning or algae eater is going to help you ! what you need to do is remove all the rock and place outside on a sunny day and wait for them to be bleached, look at the amount of time your tank is lit for per day. as a general rule anything under 8 hours will produce brown algae, anything over 11ish will produce green algae. you need to find a balance by investing in a timer for your lights and say on at 7am, off at 12pm, on at 4pm off at 9pm. reduce feeding and up water changes to dilute nitrates and you could invest in some phosphate remover which is used the same as carbon. if you want info post on forum

algea eaters will not do the job on those rocks( too abrasive, too many small holes) bleach them!! and follow the brit`s advices

go with the bleaching of the rocks and then to prevent this from happening again you need to get a large pleco or i would use the mutipling snail that way the fish would eat enough and then you will still have a natural way to eat the algea, but you have to find the right amount to get the desired affect.

i would not use any chemical other than aquatic products in a tank ! how much are your fish worth? be patient and bleach them USING THE SUN IN THE SKY!

I like the way the algae looks. I'm sure there's algae in Lake Malawi.

if your having problems with the algae and too lazy to bleach them, get a new set of rocks then

first let me say i breed fish, I have 1500 gallons and i put algae in the tanks on purpose. It is called a cycled tank!!!!! GREEN IS GOOD, IT IS HEALTHY.
DO NOT REMOVE THE ALGAE. I COULD LIST 50 REASONS WHY BUT LET ME SAY THERE IS NO HEALTHY BODY OF WATER WITHOUT IT!!!!!
