those were two males, they are displaying domination, and usaly males have bright colors and pointy fins

hard to tell in juvinales but looks like a female judging by the fins, its not a sure thing you have to let them grow

They can get 7 to 8 inches I think..

by the way katrina, they will breed with other fish but not if you have mates that they are looking for(their own species)

omg if he eats my duboisi kid..i will be so mad......but hes small 2:)my fryeri and my other fishes are kinda beating him up-.-

sorry to say but it sounds like you will have trubles with your tankmates, i tried to keep duboisi with my malawi cichlids and it did not work, they come from diferent lakes and have different needs than the malawis

oh my duboisi...Hes been with them for years now...it was an established colony..bought them from a guy for 13 bucks..and a smaller one for 20 at my lfs just 2 days ago
