This is definatley and African i know this much but what species. He is also very friendly. Lets me touch him and eats out of my hand

Tropheus duboisi, not sure on the variant, though. Strict herbivore diet. Very aggressive to their own kind.

yes a duboisi, i have one myself they do like alot of greens like romaine lettuce, green peas, spinach , spirulina flakes and i also read that they like some shrimp mix exept no brine hard for them to digest i guess

NO, NEVER EVER give tropheus protein! I had a female die from eating her eggs.....
