i agree it's a vic now there's a clearer pic but this fish has no red trim on it's fins & the eye has no vertical stripe in it like the Zue Island

which are also classified as a piebald and they say the females have the same colors good call,i agree

well as far as female, good pos as far as the exact variant,i dont know if any of us will really know,like i said about the orig pics of this fish very unique and hard to come by ive only seen them once in real life but ive seen alot of pics from my vic books,the last link i posted actually looks the closest to me,someone really up on their vics would prob know

I completely agree on the species, but I wouldn't jump to say female just yet. The rear trailer portions of the fins have been heavily nipped, which would cause this fish to fade out gaining the female appearance as all fish do. I would suggest waiting until this fish becomes the dominant fish in the tank to tell the sex for certain.

as far as dominance...he/she don't take no stuff if you know what i meann....by far the most aggresive...as far as terrertorial is concerned.. it does get chased around a bit , but i believe it's more from the other fish tired of this ones shenanigans
