this is the best i could do for now juan. i couldn't get a pic with out the flash so you can't really see his colors coming out. i'll keep trying though.

I've been told and i have heard that a true Rivulatus will not have the Dark spot or the "H" markings. Also the Green Irredescent is more bright... I'm not always right though :)

j&t, true terrors do have the dark spot. the main difference is in the scales. they are the reverse coloration of a saum. saums sales green with a brown spot. where as the true gt has a brown scale with a green spot. you can go the the cichlid scene website to see a pic of a full grown male.

looking good! The only thing I hate is that I can't find a way to capture the red in their fins. How can you tell the diff between m/f?

i'm not 100% sure with these ones at this stage. i'm just going by the amount of color he's developing at such a young age. i know what you mean about the red too. no pic i take does any justice

my 2 bigger ones are getting a small amount of white on the edges of their fins are yours?

yes. the larger one has. the other two are still kind of small.
