They are naturally dark reddish brown all the time. Earth Eater

I have raise this colony from five fish given to me four years ago. Good food, water changes and good filtration. They feed like piranhas. Always on the move.
Less fighting in the group since it got this large. Babies pop up every few months.

My hat's off to you Peter. That is an awesome colony you have there. I wish I had room for a colony of tropheus myself, but then theres all those other fish I had room for as well. Go figure.
