cichlids.com: thief ???

thief ???

My female johannii is holding for a second time in 6 weeks. I also have some maingano in and one of them was holding eggs a week ago but now she is eating and her mouth is normal i wonder if johannii steal eggs?

sometimes if the eggs werent fertilsed or if it there first time holding they eat the egss or spit them out..
