Crap aside, I would let convict go, they just nasty bastards. In my 55 g, three 4" females are terrorize poor JD female who is more then 2" larger.

i would not let the convicts inflict more damages.. this sajica is a fish i wanted for years!...at this time,i already remove 3 of them...to leave only one .im not proud of me ...lol

im soo happy, my sajicas did spawn yesterday...first time breeding those...the female coloration has change dramatically, her face turned black with bright silver eyes...try to get a shot but nothing good , ill try again....the male did not change except for his new job of defending the spot( my male honduran can tell you!)need to set up a fry tank...ill keep you posted guys

Ya, they get messed up when they stand up to the convicts. I have one of mine that has bad fin damage. And he's always confronting the damn convict. The other one that runs has perfect fins.

Congrats chuck i finally manage to keep a batch of convs alive i'm so proud these is like and achievement in life lol but yeah they are a week old and i have been feeding them fist bites from hitachy.
