mine is 2 1/2 now, and I am patiently waiting for streotype daddy time, playing catch, fishing, things like that, and fish store..lol I had a complaint filed against me about 6 months ago signed by both the local pet shops about their sales being down over 45%..lol I can't help it, I sell alot of local and net orders. I raise mine properly, a petshop can't do that, they don't have the time nor the knowledgeable staff to do it, and If all works out , I placed a bid to buy out the smaller of the 2 local shops, he is up for sale and only running 26 tanks, so who knows, I might actually get it, but only time will tell, he has refused 2 offers already, the second being almost his asking price, i think it is just bitter blood towards me though.

Congrats to both of you on well... the new addition and possible new store. What city would the store end up in Mr Cichlids? And I can relate with the child part of it. My brother and his now wife had a child at the age of 16 and me, being younger than him, has helped raise my nephew so they could both work all the time so they would be financially stable.

If I purchase , it will not be to open it, just to gain the space and equipment, I like being a private dealer, it allows me less stress (state requirements and fees) and more time to deal with just the tanks.

Yeah and to think my wife introduced me to the aquariums, I wanted cichlids and she a gold fish. We switched to cichlids because of the electrik blue that we saw and it took off from there. Now she thinks that I have an addiction . But I cant see the problem. She loves the tank as much as I do though she just wont admit it.

Where are you based out of because I know a few people who would be interested in your fish?

I wouldnt mind a fish only store. No tanks or anything else people can get their supplies elswere
