the guy i got him from told me that he was a show lab when he was younger.

Im with you Marilyn. take a look at my pics. Mine is a nice yellow but his face and mouth is way more rounded than this one.

Nice Roger. I would like a discus tank myself but they can be quite pricey. So i might try a geo tank instead. LFS has got some nice ones.

i was thinking of making my own 180 gal. tank out of plywood. it will tak some time but it will be worth the trouble when i'm done. i'll probably start aftr the holidays.

Kye, my son had 13 breeding pairs of discus at one time. The are pricey.

yeah i see them all the time at the lfs but i restrain myself from getting into them. they're pricey and very delicate fish as well.

ya, liveaquaria.com sells them for about $60. i wouldnt spend that much money on a fish, but they are very beautiful!

Yeah. Discus probably hard to find where i am too...and i meant rams (dont know why i was thinking geo). LFS does carry some young electric blue dempsies...so tempting...

tell me about it. i've seen a lot of fish i want but no space for them. future plans for me are a green terror, elephant nose, rams and sevs. i just don't know where to put them yet....lol. but my lfs have plenty in stock all the time.

also liveaquaria charges a lot for shipping your better off trying to find them somewhere.

DOESNT LOOK LIKE A SHOW LAB

i don't do shows so i'm not sure what they look for, but i know that the pic doesn't do him justice either. he is the most stunning cichlid i have in my tank.

That is a super nice yellow Lab. It is soooo hard to find quality like that these days, unless you want to mortgage your house and fork out the big bucks for WC ones

sry, rafael i'm actually puerto rican so i don't understand portugues. my wife is from bolivia and knows portugues. but it's similar to spanish when written anyways.
