It is beautiful male Heros Notatus, common Charlie don't downgrade your fish:).BTW allot scarcy then Heros Efasciatus (the ones most of us have).

Notatus overall base color is yellow gold, while Efasciatus greenish, brown, light brown etc. Notatus dots are larger and main difference is the black stripes on the sites of it's body. Adult Efasc. loose all of them except the very last one next to the caudal fin, or they appears only when fish stress or spooked. Notatus, have noticeable parts of the stripes in the mid of it's body through all life span.
You can also compare picture of both now, and see what I am talking about.

Thanks guys, sorry alex, i just cant seem to remember which is which. thanks for the info tho.......he is maybe 6 inches teeth to tail. Would that be a Heros Efasciatus below it?
