john: cant remember the brand but it is sand(small crystals)very light, do not get compacted, but thre grains arent very small like usuall sand..i love that substrate

looks good chuck. I have been using an argonite/Silica mix, cost is alot cheaper, pH stays up, and give the salt/pepper look. (Will show a photo in just a second for you)
