Dang!! I sure hope this is LINDAL and not someone else. I hope after this "cleaning" he used some bacterial soap really good on him self..
Barb Okla » posted 2008/04/13 10:45 pm
After looking at his pics.. this is his tank and daughter and him I assume here..
Desperate cleaning tactics here..

I rate this bad as not a good idea.. U just dont' know about the micro bacteria/organisems U can pic up in PLACES on U, they can and will get into..
James Riggs » posted 2008/04/13 10:47 pm
He will prolly wind up with a rash... lol
michael diaz » posted 2008/04/13 10:48 pm
No offense Lendall the water looks very dirty.
Christie & Joe » posted 2008/04/13 10:48 pm
Yuck... Take it you were not afraid of busting the tank...
Roger Hopper (m) » posted 2008/04/13 10:49 pm
What about what the fish might get. He chose to do this..
Tony Idone » posted 2008/04/13 10:54 pm
no pissin in the tank!!! know thats getting close with the fish
Barb Okla » posted 2008/04/13 10:55 pm
Good point Roger!! Poor fish indeed!!
Soap residue from his shorts is enought to hurt them.. Bounce that dryed them with or other softener.. NOT sure about bio problems that we might let them have.. Thats a scary thought really!!
Rolando DFL » posted 2008/04/13 11:00 pm
all that is well and good but how many of us have wanted to do that. salmonella aside of course.
karrie edwards » posted 2008/04/13 11:31 pm
NASTY.
James Martin » posted 2008/04/13 11:52 pm
eeewww, Nasty fishtank water...I would scrub myself down with some good antibiotic type soap after this ill-advised adventure. Not to good for the fish either.
Vince Cooper (m) » posted 2008/04/14 12:41 am
Not a well though out idea.
Vince Cooper (m) » posted 2008/04/14 12:43 am
Not a well thought out idea.
Khoi Duong » posted 2008/04/14 12:46 am
Why would you even think about doing that?
Vince Cooper (m) » posted 2008/04/14 12:58 am
I once put my head in a 100 show tank to try to see what my fish's outlook was. Yes I was as messed up as a soup sandwich.
Scott Fisher » posted 2008/04/14 01:00 am
why , when i go away for a day or so i come back to mentally challenged people posting stupid pictures ... last time a hog tied dog this time a stupid man ...look at the little girls face ... she looks concerned to say the least . bad move dude
R Kizel » posted 2008/04/14 01:09 am
Whether this was a smart move or not i would love to be able to have a tank where i could go in like that awesome tank man
Alex Odesit » posted 2008/04/14 03:25 am
not biggie, guy just have some fun
woodmans cichlids » posted 2008/04/14 04:05 am
so i guess none of you have ever been in a lake lol.
R Kizel » posted 2008/04/14 04:09 am
woodmans i was just thinking the same thing. Wouldnt the water be (or close to) the same as the lake the fish are in? and people obv swim/Dive in those Lakes so wats the diff with him being in there just maybe if the fish got sick. but its his fish
michael diaz » posted 2008/04/14 04:10 am
Woodman a lake is much bigger so it will not effect the fish and or humans as much!
lee howe » posted 2008/04/14 04:15 am
concerned for the fish, wondered about this .thought about this myself but figured to much money wrapped up in the tank and fish to do it though...my 155 has well over $2,000 wrapped into it not counting the labor I have put into it..
lee howe » posted 2008/04/14 04:18 am
although his fish are swimming around him and under him so they don't seem to mind...LOL! ! ! !

Mike I only traded a old beat up 84 bronco2(paid $600 for the truck almost 7yrs ago) for the tank and built my own cabinet.. but priced the tank at about $600 brand new, and the cabinet for under $50 and just the cost of fish and rocks if I would have bought them figure around 2,000 for it.
Cichlid Cowboy » posted 2008/04/14 04:37 am

This appears to be the act of a man determined to put up a pic that'd get 300 views (or someone who's been workin' the hobby too hard) Just kidding. Funny stunt! Mission accomplished.
Ryan Lewis » posted 2008/04/14 05:24 am
Cut the guy some slack. Haven't you ever dreamed of "swimming with your fishes"? Lol

Lendall,
Get some gogles man!
I have to say, I might do the same.
Might take a bottle of Patron, but hey.
Kick a$$ tank, nice fish too.
As for the kids face.
Looks to me like it's not the first time witnessing something off the wall.
No biggy in my book. Nor would I bet it's the first time you doing it!!!
Life is short.

2 Thoughts:
1:Time to get a bigger tank - its too small for its inhabitants......and 2:that is the ugliest fish I've ever seen! LOL
Frank Donato » posted 2008/04/14 03:35 pm
He looks trapped. This would make an interesting scene for a low budget childs play type horror flick ... "Daddy, my earring fell in the tank ... can you get it?" (padlock's the lid) ...

HUH, although it may seem cool, have u ever read your water treatment warnings? Most of the chemicals used causes cancer and who knows what else. It was all soaking in your skin dude..... Are u mad.....? Your body i guess..... and like others said, poor fish......Cool but stupid i must say....
Ricardo Torres » posted 2008/10/23 08:59 pm
I disagree with this. You are exposed to bacterias that can danger yourself. And of course your body has bacterias that can kill your fishes. Take care ;)
