chris i am sorry if this affends you but... are you crazy!! putting pirhanas in with cichlids. have you not seen youyube vidoes? and i aggree about the spotted silver dollars but if they really are piranhas they'll rip your fish apart.

not if u feed them well. there realy passive also im jest trying to growthem out in my big tank so i can sell them. and yes they are peranah. look at the other pictures

not true, they will eat your fishes even if well fed..starting by the fins...believe me

i agree with chuck, I had them, they are going to nip fins of any of their tankmates, even when they well fed.
also, I am really surprise this poor little cichlid, still alive there for longer then one night, with piranhas school like this.
remind me these nasty videos at youtube, where these sick as*holes feed piranha with adult cichlids, arrowana, etc. I hope you not one of these.

chris, think also, keeping them well fed means also polluting your tank..the other fishes will suffer from it anyway....cheers alex

ok first of all they are young all my cichlids are much bigger than them, except my little pike. also the cichlids are way more agressive than them and actuly pick on the paranahs. as soon as i start seeing niped fins beleve me ill take them out.. like i said im trying to grow them out for a little in my big tank. i understand ur consurns tho. thnx
