how do u tell male from female with kenyi

m-yellow, f-blue

My male Kenyi,as he matured, turned bright yellow and lost his stripes. Is that normal? I have one in another tank that looks just like this one, though.

when mine got big, he is 5", he turned orange, his dorsal fin turned blue and only shows his stripes when he's in a bad mood.nice fish Christina
