lee i have 2 different kinds of julis and none of them are this dark? maybe the name midnight means dark?

yeah midnight means they are a darker version of the dickfeldi.....thought you meant the way he was sitting in the pic

the Julidiochromis Dickfeldi "midnight" are a darker form of the Dickfeldi "Livua" but are the very same fish.
