my custom made 100square ft. turtle habitat
(posted as offtopic)
me and my dad turned this into a turtle habitat, cause it was just a bunch of wasted spae along side the house, it measures about 20'L x 5'W, we buried 18"x18"x2" slabs of concrete 3' into the ground all the way along each side of the enclosure to prevent diggin out, we had that happen a couple times, and blazers got attacked by the neighbors dog, so after that we buried the slabs. it has 2 very large caves made of limestone rocks, and cedar boards ontop, the smaller cave is sarges, it is about 2.5'Lx1.5'Dx1'H, the other 1 belongs to the 2 box turtles, it measures about 3'Lx1.5'Dx1'H, i put leaves and sticks and mulch in their caves regularly to give them materials to burrow into at night, they have 3x 12"diameter water bowls with little cedar ramps that they both drink from and cool off in. i also have 3x clay pot bases for feeding dishes, also their is a small tree, 2 2' shrubs, and i am planting about 12 large ferns int he next couple weeks for added food and cool areas.
