hey chuck you have lots of drift wood in your tanks hows it go with the ph over time does it steady up

Robert J:with 25 % water change every 10 days, my ph just stay around tap water's level(7.5);the wood has no time to make its softening effect...you need A LOT of wood to really see a difference in ph and hardness

ohok i tried wood once befor but all the brown stuf came out and my dad made me take it out
yer i i do my water changes about 20 15% every week so yeh mines about 7.5 think

as soos as there is wood in a tank, the water color get a yellowish tint...im the kind of keeper that loves it, it adds a more natural effect, and fish seems to love it too, feeling more secure in a tinted water, just like in the wild

Thanks guys. Loved this one since I first laid eyes on him. He does well diet wise. I use a variation of foods to keep them all happy.
