Cyrtocara moorii
this is my blue dolphincichlid, i would like to know if this fish is male or female? it is about 4.5 inches in total length, its dorsal and anal fins extend .5 inches past the end of the tail fin, and the 2 chest fins are each about about 2 inches long, if someone can answer this question it would be great.

to small to tell, my guess would be male cause of the colors, but thats not for sure, but until it mates or develops a hump, you can't really tell

i would think male also, because of color, and because of his fin length. Its just a guess though, and nice fish!

tho im new to keepin cichlids i do happen to have a number of dolphins i dont like to go against what people are sayin but ill put my money on it being a female
