Just bought one of these this sunday. He is only about two inches long, which I plan to put in my 75 gallon I just set up. He is currently in my 125 in a hamsterball, one question do they tend to stay torwards the bottom of the tank? I am afraid once I put him into the 75 he will get sucked into my intake, because of his small size.

i found mine one time inside the filter peekin his head out so i really dont know and dont know how he got up that high..
