Thanks all,
alex, im just waking from a 'cigarette' induced nap, lol.
Bip, these guys get HUGE, like 2,3 maybe 3.5 feet long.
Esox, its funny you ask, many many cichlids. I had no idea they ate fish when i got him, but after clearing out a tank, i caught on. from the top of my head, one arortus (whatever) 2 labs, couple red zebras,1 peacock, 1 venustus, 1 jewel, 1 nicaraguanses, thats what i remember. He is like my garbage disposal.

Big cats are eatin' machines. I remember importing some "Toad Cats" from Brazil at 8" long they would eat 7" inch oscars in one gulp. they grew to about 16" in a two months, ate everything we put in the tank with them, even a piranha lol.

thanks chris, they do grow fast on a cichlid diet. I had another one, but they would scrap it out fierce, i had to get rid of it. I put it in my boss' pond. He had about 8 .27 cent feeder gold fish in there, (as well as other fish) but in a week, the feeders were gone. And, so far, the cat is doing ok in the pond, first winter in the elements, and he is just fine. i was worried at first.......
