no. the f1s are just babies. these are regular gold saums.

great couple, how big are they and how big is the tank?

they are about 5 1/2-6in each. they are only in a 55 which is why i had to pull the other fish out.

oh, i got another nic today, its only about 2" tl, im hoping its a male for my female, i know its to young to tell, but it looks like it might be a male, cause the lines running down its sides are almost completly gone, only the spot is completly visible, so hears to hoping.

they are easily one of my favorites of all cichlids, if you get room, i definatly suggest getting one, they are great and so full of personality, and their colors when mature are some of the best. imao. the reason i want a breeding pair is because they are few and far between around where im at, but their are alot of people who want them and will pay pretty good for them, so i am hoping to breed them. well i have to help my dad finish hardy-planking the garage tomarrow, so i need to get some sleep, i'll catch yoa later.
