yer its does its alot brighter and the fish stand out more and big alot more
harder to clean but

Hopefully cleaning will become easier as you get used to it. I think I am going to put sand in a smaller tank before I load up my 130 gal with it. I have never had sand before, but I love the look.

yer u would need alot of sand to fill that but when u wash it u end up with half the sand u started with i found

um it took me like an hour to do my 75gal and i just got sand from work i'm a plumber so yeh i just took some home

Ok, I have heard of people rinsing their sand for a few days. I've never heard of 'plumbing' sand before. Is 'plumbing' sand pretty clean then? It has been suggested to me to use pool sand.

um plumbing sand is just cheap sand we use to put around pipes so people see or feel the sand befor they smash our pipes it was kind clean pool sand would be best as it pretty clean already and slightly heavier i looked into it all befor i did my tank but realy any sand should do as long as u clean it properly
