if it has a hump then yes its a male, the local fish store here has a female and it a few years old very nice tho, and it has no hump

I love her, she's a beaut! Color is peak! No abrasions. Perfect living quarters! Clear H20. What can I say- based on her color she's a happy, healthy friend. BTW- what's her size now?
