cool man, allot of growing to do!
I love to start from little ones, see all stages through their development.

i agree. there's a greater sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when raising them from fry.

awsome man what tank are they in, and are they in with anything else? they are lookin really good. how big are they now? and i am with you, i never buy anything but juvenille or smaller fish, i think it great raising them from small little babies, and seeing them get their first colors, and seeing them begin to gain their own little individual traits, charicteristics, and personalities. its very rewarding.

right now they are in my 45 to grow out. they're only 1 1/2in and in with 4 silver dollars. they are starting to go on a little growth spurt though.

cool, i am getting a green terror thats about 1-1.5" tl, and i would like to know what u feed these little guys? i need to know, because i have never owned one under 2.5", and at that size they readilly accept whole freeze-dried shrimp and hikari pellets and stuff, but id ont know much about what they will eat at that size, the tiny gt will be going in my new 55g with a 1" texas cichlid i bought a few days ago, i am setting up the new 55g tomarrow morning, i am putting the water from my established 30g long into it, and i am putting the established marineland bio- wheel 350 on it, to help with the growth of the benificial bacteria.

i was feeding them cichlid flakes and tubiflex worms. they are just now big enough now that they are eating mini pellets.

hey josh, how do u know they are F1s, arent they quite rare? cool though
joshua weeks » posted 2007/06/23 - 01:44
yes they are rare. the person i got them from had gotten some f0s from rapps. he was lucky enough to get a pair out of them.
