if you were from my neck of the woods i'd gladly give you some. i've been stocking my lfs with a steady supply thanks to these two. just got rid of 24 of them today.

I may have to look into getting one by mail, however I would prefer to see it's personality first. I did see a 2" Tex once at a local store and it had about 10 3" GT's back into a corner. That was one agro Tex.

they are tough ones. i have mine in a tank by themselves for that very reason

It kind of suprises me that I haven't found one here (Portland, OR) because there are a couple of great shops. There is one that I go to quite often called The Wet Spot that has over 400 tanks. A great selection and very healthy fish but never seen a Carpintis there. If I do and it isn't terrorizing it's tank mates it's mine! :)

Are the Green Tex as agro as the regular Tex?

they are about the same. maybe a little worse. cant say for sure
