thank you sarah. yes these guys are very nice fish finding them at a good price can be challenging though as you say. i'm currently attenmpting to breed them myself but my females are still too small:(

yeah i did have one but he/she died. i think we got him for like $20 and he was like 3inches maybe.which is pretty good compared to everywhere else i have seen.but when i have the money. i will get me another one

good eye james this is my male burundi. and sarah have you looked for local breeders. sometimes you can find fry at an inch or 2 for around 5-10 each

does your tank have a cover? Can't wait when mine get that big. I just bought four
of them from Petsmart $25.00 each. They were about 1.5 inch. But I noticed that one has grown a lot in the last month.

yes he is greatful and yes the tank has a cover but nothing on top of it so he was able to push it right open good luck with the fry hope you get a good ratio
