the fastest way i have found to reaaly beef them up is alot of meaty foods, i feed mine three good sized meals everyday, except sunday, thats the day that i skip feedings. i will post a pic of the foods that i feed tomarrow, got to get new batteries for the camera, also when i say meaty foods i dont mean all live and frozen, i feed hikari frozen krill every thursday, and i feed hikari frozen bloodworms every other tuesday, i also feed live red wiggler worms every monday, wednesday, and friday. the only reason i say dont feed them frozen food everyday(especially bloodworms), is because your fish will most likely become addicted, and they wont eat their other foods, and once this happens it is a pain in the arse to get them back to eating other things. so feed frozen foods sparingly.

also i feed hikari freeze dried brine shrimp, fuhitian whole freeze dried shrimp, fuhitian whole freeze dried bloodworms, HBH super soft krill pellets, HBH super soft spirulina pellets, hikari cichlid gold pellets. my geophagus also get ocean nutrition brine shrimp flakes, and ocean nutrition cichlid omni formula flakes. also my geos get new life spectrum cichlid pellets.and thats what my fish eat, basically i try to give them as many different tastes and textures of foods as possible, as well as not using any foods with unnatural color enhancers.
