It hasn't been built by me yet but heres the sketch. easier than dump larg trash cans of watter into the tank..and prolly a more suction than a traditional cyphon

what will the length of the hose be? Height difference may also deminish flow.

KayBee I went to a pond pump. More pumping and easy. I will get some pictures up.

Oh with that I can pump water as far as 100 ft. If not to much upgrade.

not a bad idea, but wouldn't it be easier to just use a hose with a shutoff valve on it?
