Very Nice I just got in 7 of these dudes. Just wondering how fast will they grow in my 75 gallon tank and when should I expect them to start breeding. They are all very small only 1 inch.

Well, there's no sure way to tell how fast they will grow. Mine has gradually grown from about 2 inches to 4.5 inches in over a year. However, this type of cichlid will stay relatively small as compared to many of the other species. As far as breeding, just be sure that all of their essential needs are met and give them lots of places to hide out.

My female is currently holding right now. She is approx. 1 in. and the male is like 3-4 inches right now. I have had them about a year and the female seems to stay small.

I have 2 of this breed, 1 the "TRUE" natural state of the caeruleus the whiteish one, and a electric yellow like this, dark black finnage etc...was wondering if there is ANY way of telling the sex besides venting...

Usually for males, there will be an increased amount of the black coloring on the fins. I have also heard a bit about the females displaying a darkened diagonal line on the eyes.
