Should one of the female auratus change to male. if so when and how long does it take. I have four females. One is a lot bigger but has not changed colour as yet.

the aratus that we breed usually start to get "dirty" looking when they hit about 4cms. if yours are bigger than this and still pretty lookin', i'm guessing you've got 4 girls.

I have a aratus that is white instead of yellow with black stripes. It was doing fine but now its scrathing its gills, and his colour is fading bad any ideas why?

My male took 6 months to reach full colorization. But that is with feedings 2 times a day, and lots of it. I "rushed" him to get big...
