wow roger 5 star restaurant at your house.. i mix my pellets up with flake as well,alternate days and worms rarely, pet shop rarely gets them... silly question high protein in mbunas causes problems what is it.. my et shop guy told me to feed them protein once a week or more.. some of my rescue fish were a bit skinny in the belly ..

Yes Scott it is. they love it. Kylie mbunas can get malawi bloat from to much protien. I try to keep mine on veggie diet. My pics let you know how it works. They are fat.

Nice selection of food. However, I have a question. I see some Wardley products. I heard that Wardley is a cheap brand of food not very good for fish. Like its the lowest quality of food you can buy. I feed my fish Omega One, TetraCichlid, Hikari, and some other stuff.

Nice choices overall roger. I use the NLS pellets and spirulina flakes and my Fronts LOVE it especially. I get the NLS on ebay at a reasonable cost.

It came from a big box of stuff I got from the lfs Mark, not something I buy daily. I feed mostly omega one products, I was not going to throw it away. I bought 5 boxes of stuff for 20.00 hard to pass up.lol

None of our fish like new life spectrum except the piranah. It is really good food, but they wont eat it.

joe what new life do you have i have cichlid formula and all my fish love it and the color enhances #1 in food have a look at mt fish all my fish r a year old and all look good

tried nls with mine too when i first got them , didnt like it and went with hikari and WARDLEY cichlid flakes , which is a decent food . look at my fish and tell me the combo isnt working.

Cichlid formula, we bought it for the Flowerhorn, Oscars and Fronts. Tried and tried they just never took to it. The pirahna loved it, tetra's or not :)

same with me j&c had more sucked up my filter intake or fished out by me than fish were eating .

have tried africans wont take it , fed it to the jd tho who eats everything , but i'll still stick with hikari
