Looking on Google pics i would say Iporangensis is a lot more glittery ? Where Bras looks exactly the same without the sheen

to me, ipo shows one lighter, yellowish vertical bars on each side of the dark spot in mid body...i also think that ipo has black on the hard rays of the pelvic fins...brasiliensis shows more green/blue speckles on the body than ipo...but im not 100 % sure

im back from some web sites and everybody says that its almost impossible to distinguish both unless for the adultsize( ipo about 10 cm...bras about 28 cm)

I will throw spanner in works ! I brought 2 on same day same size 1 is 6" and def Bras other 3" darker strip on eye could shop have not known difference and passed on as Bras? I presumed smaller was female maybe its just haw big Ipo grow as 4" tops
