That is the #1 sand for cichlids by far in my opinion. Looks good, works good, ph balanced and doesnt make it into your filters.

I like the sand Michelle. I am debating on mixing some black sand with the white I have for my 30 gal.

The bag (yeah I finally read it, hehe) says put straight in, because it has water in it with live bacteria! If I rinse,then I would be rinsing that all out.

yes it is eco complete. no rinsing needed
