Here is my green terror again, "The Boss." It think it owns the tank. I call it "It" because I am not sure whether it is male or female. I believe it is a male because of the lump on its head and the dorsal fins.

I figured it was a male. Why does he act like he wants to breed with my black convicts? He has a weird relationship with my breeding pair. He is always around when they breed and he helps them protect their eggs and fry. Has onyone ever experienced such strange behavior in different species? If so, tell me about it. Also, how would I go about breeding my GT with an african cichlid without them fighting or is this even possible? Please enlighten me. I do not normally cross-breed but in this case, I would like to try.
