Jon he's about 4 inches but he has not grown length wise as much as he got broader and high, Guys with the photos you just need to be patient. i just focus on one fish and just follow him. Agood camera helps out also.

Ihave a Canon powershot S3 IS it was about 350.00 and it was money well worth it.

Tony, I think this one is Red Devil, not Midas.
Midas usualy don't have this kind of coloration

this one does look like a RD but I have raised midas and they look the same as an RD until they start to fill out more and get thicker in the body and not as LONG as a RD is known for.. Rd have thin lips and midas have bigger and thicker in TRUE Red Devils and Midas lips.. So this one has some more growing to do.. Most fish stores dont' sell RD as they are just to mean but they might sneak them in to get rid of them and label them Midas..

Alex i don't know anymore all these cross breed fish and hybrids and flowerhorns. i guess we will see when he gets older. i have another one that looks totally different. i try and post a picture

Tony, Red Devil is nothing less to be proud then Midas, def more color variations.
